At last, iPhone 8 has been launched yesterday (12th of september), and trust me, the device accompanies amazing specifications and features. Though, in terms of physical appearance, this flagship smartphone looks a lot like its predecessor, the iPhone 7, with the same screen-size and resolution. But this time around, iPhone 8 has a glass back.



The new Apple phone is built on Series 7000 Aluminium frame and Glass back. It sports a 4.7 inches display at 750 x 1334 pixels resolution and its IP68 certified; meaning the phone is dust and water resistant. For image duties, iPhone 8 has 12MP back camera and 7-megapixel front facing shooter for selfies and video chats.



Multitasking on the iPhone 8 won't be stressful at all, because the smartphone has 2GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage. Users have to utilize more of cloud storage, as there is only one SIM slot and no space for memory expansion via SDcard. The new Apple phone will runs latest Apple's iOS 11 operating system out of the box.



The battery capacity of iPhone 8 wasn't specified during press time, but the phone has wireless and reverse charging technology implemented on it. Thus, you can charge the device without physical connectors and cables. With Reverse charging, you can charge other phones with your iPhone 8.



Other specs worth mentioning are fingerprint scanner, barometer and 4G LTE support. iPhone 8 will be available in the market starting from September 22, 2017, but preoder will commence on the 15th of this month. As for the price iPhone 8 will cost around N300,000 Naira in Nigeria, and $699 in other parts of the world.
