Dogee Set To Release Bending Smartphone in 2018

Chinese smartphone maker—Dogee, will have a pleasant surprise for fans next year. The brand—which has wings across Africa and Asia—is working on a new device with curved screen display, which will be launched in 2018.

Some years back, Samsung and LG headed an innovation with their smartphone with curved displays. Samsung released a device with a curved screen called the galaxy round while LG released 2 generation of LG G flex. Now, a revamp of the old is set to take place next year.

A popular leakstar on Twitter—@Evleaks, posted photos referencing the two aforementioned devices, with caption:
"Remember the Galaxy Round and LG Flexes? Well next year Doogee will try its hand at a curved screen device, with 18.5:9 aspect ratio, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB storage."

The two images attached to the tweet shows a flexible display which would feature an 18.5:9 aspect ratio and Doogee’s branding on it. Multitasking won't be a problem on this device, thanks to it massive 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

Now that more OEMs are producing bending phones, this will be a bad market to @JerryRigEverything, who specializes in torturing phone by 'bending,' burning and scratching them. Checkout his iPhone 8 durability tests here.
