Gionee Ready to Launch 8 New Smartphones on November 26

Chinese OEM—Gionee is set to release an orgy of smartphones before the end of this month. Precisely, the brand will launch eight(8) phones, some with bezel-less displays, dubbed Gionee F205 and Gionee F6 along with Gionee M7 Plus, S11, S11S and Steel 3 on the 26th of November.

Images of some of the expected devices have been leaked on popular Chinese social network—Weibo. Though, specifications weren't included, the images, and listings from GFXBench, dropped some hints on what the phones will sport.

Gionee F205

This smartphone is likely to sport a 5-inch HD+ display, at 18:9 aspect ratio in a bezel-less frame. Gionee F205 will come with 2GB RAM and 16GB onboard storage, coupled with MediaTek MT6739 chipset and quad-core CPU.


For image duties, you'll have 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. It is said to be running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system with the company’s own custom Amigo UI on top.

Gionee F6

The F6 will boast of 5.7-inch HD+ display with FullVision. It will be powered by MediaTek MT6739 chipset, 1.4GHz CPU, paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB onboard storage, and run Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS.

A dual-camera setup of 13MP+ 2MP is reportedly present at the back, and a single selfie camera of 8-megapixel. The smartphone will be fueled by a 2,970mAh battery.

Gionee M7 Plus

According to TENAA, Gionee M7 plus has a metallic build with 6.43-inch FullView display, at 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio plus 2.5D curved glass. In terms of photography, the phone will come with two 16-megapixel lenses at the back and an 8-megapixel selfie camera.

The M7+ will come with a monster 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, and run Amigo OS 5.0 based on Android 7.1 Nougat.

Gionee S11

Following an online ad from Gionee, the S11 will feature dual front and dual rear camera, making it 4 cameras (16MP+8MP front camera and 16MP+5MP back camera). The phone will sport a 5.99-inch full HD display.

In terms of performance, the device will be powered by 2.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6763 processor, coupled with 6GB RAM and 64GB of storage. It houses 3500mAh battery capacity.

Gionee Steel 3

Rumours have it that Gionee Steel 3 will feature a 5.5-inch display with HD+ resolution, an 8MP cameras on the front and back. An octa-core processor will be present, paired with 2GB/3GB RAM and 16GB/32GB storage, which will likely be fueled by 4,000 mAh battery.

These are unofficial specifications, but take them with a pinch of salt while we await their full specs and prices.
