Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ Receives Latest Oreo beta and App Permission Monitor

When Samsung Galaxy Note 8 was launched in September 2017, the phone accompanied an interesting feature dubbed App Permission Monitor. If this is turned on, users of the Note 8 phone will get notified everytime an app uses a specific permission.

This feature is helpful if you suspect the activities of an application, or you just want to while away time; as you can view the app's permission history, alongside that of any other using permissions in the background.

Well, I'm pleased to inform you that the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will now also have the app permission monitor feature, thanks to the latest version of the Android 8.0 beta that is rolling out to the phone. This update will bring the APM feature.

Galaxy fans are happy now, but some Android users wants the App Permission Monitor to be a native feature in all Android smartphones, instead of being restricted to Samsung Galaxy devices.
