Users of popular 4G LTE broadband operator—Ntel will soon be able to roam nationwide with 9Mobile network. The operators has announced a national roaming field trial, with the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) giving them the green light.



Courtesy of this agreement, Ntel subscribers will be able to make calls on 9Mobile’s network using any 2G or 3G handset within the specified trial zone.

Once test is complete;

• This agreement will enable Ntel subscribers use 4G services where ever there is 9mobile coverage
• 9mobile user will be able to roam on ntel network and tap into their juicy 4G network

Ntel started operation on Friday April 8, 2016, and they boast of an advanced mobile 4G/LTE network on the 900/1800 Mhz frequency bands which offers subscribers data, voice, and video services. 9Mobile is the 4th largest telco network in Nigeria with over 18 million active subscribers.

The national roaming trial which commenced on the 1st of December, will run till end of February, 2018. After this two months test, Ntel subscribers will be enjoy these privileges and also make calls on 9mobile’s network within the specified trial zone.
