Taiwan based manufacturer—HTC has made available a new update for the HTC U11 units in the US, which will move the device to version 2.42.617.1. The software update weighs at 737MB, looking like a big one, but the change list it accompanies will make you think otherwise.

Usually, updates of this size bring along a lot of features, but in this case, the changelog is suspiciously small. According to the screenshot below, only two changes are mentioned: December Android Security patch and an unspecified system enhancements.
This is the first update HTC U11 has received after it got Oreo, but we believe there are more added features to this update. Do use the comment box if you spot one.
