One of the feature highlights of Vivo X20 Plus UD is the under-display fingerprint sensor, and it is the first smartphone to successfully integrate this biometric function designed by Synaptic. Unlike other companies who mount the scanners at the back or side of their smartphones, Vivo is using the latest Synaptics Clear ID FS9500 sensor which is reportedly faster than the 3D face recognition technology introduced on Apple's iPhone X.

Other specifications includes: 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage, paired with Snapdragon 660 chipset and Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The handset support 4G LTE network and uses Li-Ion 3900 mAh battery which is non-removable. Vivo X20 Plus UD is now available in China, carrying a price tag of 3998 Yuan, which is about N223,000 in Nigeria. It will be launched in other country on January 25th.
