We witnessed the launch of three new smartphones under the Asus brand at the recently-concluded MWC 2018 trade fair, namely: ZenFone 5, 5z and 5 Lite. Meanwhile, we were also expecting the release of ZenFone 5 Max which first leaked back in January, but it didn't happen.

However, the Taiwan based manufacturer is set to add more devices to the ZenFone family very soon. New details about Asus ZenFone5 Max has surfaced, which suggests it is not an high-end, but a mid-range handset.
After making the rounds of Wi-Fi Alliance where it received its certification, the ZenFone 5 Max was recently spotted at Geekbench. Apparently, the smartphone will be equipped with a Qualcomm
Snapdragon 660 processor and 4GB RAM.

The phone will sport a 5.7-inch display at full HD+ resolution with an aspect ratio of 18:9, and a customary screen notch. ZenFone 5 Max, as expected, will run Android 8.0 Oreo straight from the box. It will feature a 3.5mm audio jack and USB Type-C port.
There are no details in terms of battery and camera at the moment, but more specifications of Asus ZenFone 5 Max could pop up in the coming weeks. Stay glued for more updates!
