The Samsung Galaxy J lineup is expected to be unveiled sooner rather than later, as more leaked specs of smartphones in the series keeps surfacing. Details about at least two unannounced models have already went round, with the first one, a certain Samsung Galaxy J8 featuring Exynos 7870 mobile platform and 3GB RAM according to Geekbench listings.

Another Galaxy J smartphone has just been spotted at the same source, and judging by the model number, it stands as an upgrade to the Galaxy J8, the one we mentioned earlier. So, it's alright if we call it 'Samsung Galaxy J8 Plus' since it packs slightly improved specs than the regular model (SM-J800FN).
This newly leaked smartphone carries the model number SM-J805G, and features a 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor under the hood, coupled with 4GB RAM, instead of just 3GB available in the Exynos-based variant.
All other specs about this yet-to-be-announced device is still sketchy and in the dark. However, we're certain it'll run Android 8.0 Oreo operating system out of the box. The Samsung Galaxy J8 Plus may be launched in North America, while the former could be available in other regions.
