Oppo A3 Launched With 19:9 Display, but no Fingerprint Scanner

The Oppo A3 is a budget smartphone that was launched launched quietly few days ago. It sports a large 6.2-inch IPS LCD display at 1080 x 2280 pixels resolution, with an aspect ratio of 19:9. There is a notch placed on top of the display which houses the 8MP front-facing camera, the in-ear speaker and other sensors. At the rear, the phone features a 16MP primary shooter equppied with LED flash. But ridiculously, there in NO fingerprint scanner and USB Type-C port.

In terms of performance, Oppo A3 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 processor, coupled with 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage which guarantees smooth multitasking. In addition, the memory can further be expanded via microSD card. The devicde runs Android 8.1 Oreo and uses a 3400mAh battery to keep the lights on.

As for the price and availability, Oppo A3 has been released to the Chinese market and it would hopefully spread to other regions later. The handset costs $330, equivalent to ₦118,000.
