Google Adds new Gestures Navigation to Gmail on Android Devices

Just few weeks after Google introduced the Snooze button on Gmail, a new update is now available on the app that adds a number of new features and improvements in a bid to further enhance the app's functionality while on the move.

First on the list of added features is the new gestures which can be spotted when you go to the General settings / Swipe actions in Gmail. With this feature, you can now swipe left or right on an email, but you'll have to enable these actions from the new Swipe actions menu.

You can also set your swipe gestures to do different actions, such as Archive, Delete, Mark as read/unread, Move to, Snooze, None. Meanwhile, only two of these actions can be activated at a time; one for left swipe, the other for right swipe.

It appears Google is rolling out the update via a server-side toggle, so you have to wait for it. The update should hit your devices in the coming days.
