Just few weeks after Sony released the Xperia XZ2, the Japanese company is reportedly working on a new smartphone dubbed Xperia XZ3 and i'm left wondering why they release flagship phones every six months or so. An spec sheet allegedly listing details of the phone has leaked out of Japan, revealing a much thinner and lighter screen panel than the XZ2, with more RAM.

For image duties, this device is listed with a dual camera of 19-megapixel sensor, with a wider F/1.8 aperture, and a 12MP sidekick with an even wider F/1.6 lens. Thus, it stands as an upgrade to the Xperia XZ2 single 19MP rear camera, and F/2.0 aperture. The front camera packs a 13MP lens, coming with exactly the same features of the XZ2 Premium.
In terms of performance, we spotted some minor upgrade from the Z2, which includes a higher 6GB RAM (from 4GB) and a slightly larger battery capacity. The highlight of this phone will obviously be its camera, and if this spec sheet turns out to be true, the Xperia XZ3 may end up being Sony's biggest middle-line smartphone. Expect more details as the IFA expo, which starts on August 31, draws nearer.
