How to Search Image Using Bing Visual Search

By uploading an image to a search engine like Google Image Search, TinEye, or Bing Visual Search, this TechPad teaches you how to search the internet. When you search by image, you can see where the image appears online and look for images that are visually similar to one another.

  • Locate the image you are looking for. Any image can be uploaded to Bing Visual Search to see if it is available elsewhere online. Download the image right away or copy its URL to your clipboard if it has not already been saved to your computer or mobile device.
  • To obtain: Select Save Image As by right-clicking or long-tapping an image (the text may differ depending on the browser). Name the file and save it according to the on-screen instructions.
  • You may need to select Open image in new tab or View Background Image first, depending on the website and your browser.
  • Copying the URL: Select Copy image location/address or Copy image by right-clicking or long-tapping on the image.
  • Enter https://www.bing.com/images into your browser. This launches the image search website operated by Bing.
  • Provide the image's URL or upload it. The steps are different for each device:
If the picture is saved on your computer:
In the search bar, click the camera icon.
Under "Drag an image here or browse," select browse.
Click "Open" after selecting the image. The image will be uploaded, and the results of your search will appear.
  • If the picture is on your tablet or phone:
  • If prompted, tap the camera icon and select Continue.
  • Select the photo by navigating to it. The picture will be uploaded, and the results will be shown.
  • If the picture exists online:
  • Computer: Click Paste image or URL after clicking the camera icon at the top of the screen. Select Paste the view results by right-clicking on the blank.
  • Tablet or phone: To see the results, tap and hold the blank at the top of the screen, select Paste, and tap the magnifying glass.
  • Examine the outcomes: You can view instances of the image by clicking any of the links, or you can see alternatives by clicking an image under "Similar images" or "Related images."
