How to Search Images Using TinEye

By uploading an image to a search engine like Google Image Search, TinEye, or Bing Visual Search, this TechPad teaches you how to search the internet. When you search by image, you can see where the image appears online and look for images that are visually similar to one another.

  • Locate the image you are looking for. TinEye lets you upload any image to see where else it can be found online. You can now save the image if you haven't already. You can simply copy the complete address to the image online if you prefer not to download anything. To obtain the image's URL or download it, follow these steps:
  • To obtain: Select Save Image As by right-clicking or long-tapping an image (the text may differ depending on the browser). Name the file and save it according to the on-screen instructions.
  • You may need to select Open image in new tab or View Background Image first, depending on the website and your browser.
  • Copying the URL: Select Copy image location/address or Copy image by right-clicking or long-tapping on the image.
In a web browser, go to https://www.tineye.com.
Provide the image's URL or upload it.
If the image is on your smartphone, tablet, or computer:
Next to the search bar, click the arrow.
If you're on a computer, click Open to select the image.
If the picture exists online:
Click or long-tap the empty space labeled "Upload or enter Image URL."
Click Copy.
To search, click the magnifying glass.
  • Examine the outcomes. A list of matches, followed by the number of times the exact image was found online, will be displayed. There will be no results if the image is not found.
