These days, Google Camera, also known as GCam, is quite popular. In an effort to provide its Pixel smartphone line with the highest possible image quality thanks to its cutting-edge image processing, Google initially released the Google Camera app. The app is only officially available for Pixel phones and is not open source.

However, Developers like BSG, Bulkin043, San1ty, and a lot of others who were able to port the app and make it available for other smartphones have made it possible for the Gcam app to be used on a lot of smartphones these days.

You can do a lot with GCam, like take great portrait shots, night shots, slow-motion videos, HDR+ images, and many other things. You can even manually alter the camera's settings with GCam, and you can export your configuration as Xml to share with friends or use in the future. How to Export.xml Configuration Files Using GCam Open the GCam App and navigate to your settings.

If you are unable to locate Save settings, check Advance Settings or the About Page.

Save the file with the name you prefer, such as config.xml.

The configs folder, which is /GCam/Configs/ for Gcam 6.x and /GCam/Configs7/ for GCam 7.x, is where your configuration will be saved.

On other GCam versions with similar settings and support for this feature, you can use the saved config file. Additionally, you can share it with other users.

How to Import Config Files into GCam The GCam configs folder must first be created.

For GCam 6.x, open your file manager, create a folder called GCam, then open that folder and create another folder inside called Configs (/GCam/Configs/). For GCam 7.x, open your file manager, create a folder called GCam, then open that folder and create another folder inside called Configs (/GCam/Configs7/). Finally, copy the.xml config file to the new config folder.

Start the Gcam app and tap twice on the black empty space at the bottom.

Click restore after selecting the config file.

The GCam app ought to restart.

Try importing it once more if that fails.
