Without a doubt, WhatsApp is one of the most used instant messaging apps on smartphones. Coming soon, some very interesting updates have already been revealed through the latest beta available on Android and iOS.
Apparently, WhatsApp will soon introduce some very tasty features for all users. First of all, it seems that the possibility of transcribing received voice messages will arrive. The processing of the message will take place on your smartphone and not online so as to always keep the conversation private. This is a very useful feature that will allow you to know the content of a voice message even when it becomes impossible to listen to it. Through Telegram, there are already some bots that allow you to do the same thing, but the accuracy of the transcription, in this case, is expected to be better.
WhatsApp was already working on this feature in 2021, but then the development team abandoned the work. In this case, the latest beta has revived the development of this feature even indicating the graphical interface.
It will be important to set the right language to allow audio recognition: if there are inconsistencies, the application will not transcribe the received message.
Not only that: the news will also concern group chats. In particular, it seems that there will be the possibility of scheduling real meetings within the groups. This will probably facilitate the work of some who use this platform for business purposes.
In any case, it is not yet clear if and when the company will release these features to the public. What can be said with certainty, however, is the fact that the Meta developers are working to significantly improve the WhatsApp user experience.
