Energizer Power Max P16K Pro: First Phone With 16,000mAh Battery

One of the highlights of the Energizer Power Max P16K Pro is its amazing 16000mAh battery capacity which can last for one week, coupled with fast charging technology, it takes just 90mins to get fully charged. The phone sports a 5.99-inch IPS LCD display at 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution, with 18:9 aspect ratio, enclosed in a glass body.



For images and videos duties, the handset features a dual camera setup of 16MP + 13MP at the back, equipped with dual-LED and dual-tone flash. For selfies and video chat, you've got 13MP + 5MP sensors in front. Under the hood is 2.5 GHz Octa-core Mediatek Helio P23 chipset, paired with a massive 6GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt memory, but with no SD card slot for expanded storage.

Energizer Power Max P16K Pro runs Android 8.0 Oreo straight from the box. Other specs includes: 4G VoLTE support, fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C connector, 3.5mm audio jack, support for 12V fast charging, and lots more. The only thing I find disappointing in this phone is its lack of support for reverse charging; despite its huge 16000 mAh battery capacity, it can't be used to charge other devices via OTG.

Energizer POWER MAX P16K Pro was unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2018) few days ago. It will be available in September 2018 carrying a price tag of $740 which is around N266,400 in Nigeria.
