You Stream Live Videos on YouTube? Here are Updates for you

Popular video sharing platform—YouTube is introducing series of new features in a bid to improve users' experience in terms of live video streaming on the platform. The video giant is rolling out a chat replay feature, automatic English-language captions, and a location tag — all to add more live videos watching styles, and increase interaction with the community in real time.

The Chat Replay feature allows users to follow a conversation after a live stream is over. Live chat replays will show up alongside the video, exactly as it appeared live. Automatic English-language captions will also be making its way to YouTube live stream, after doing so in uploaded videos back in 2009. It helps broaden access to those who have difficulty in hearing as well as to those who watch live streams on their mobile devices with the sound off.

YouTube will be allowing creators to add a location tag to their mobile live streams and video uploads, as well as letting them share their favourite hot spots with viewers. Other videos are there for you to explore once you click on the same location tag, and additionally, location filter on the search results page can be used to find other videos from a specific spot.
