Next Samsung Galaxy J Series Phone Leaked, to Feature Android Oreo

Unlike the flagship Galaxy S and mid-range Galaxy A series, Samsung Galaxy J series consist of budget smartphones with mostly low-end specifications. But according to recent benchmark listings, the next Galaxy J series phone will accompany Android Oreo which the new Galaxy A8 (2018) and A8+ (2018) handsets don't even have.

The yet-to-be-announced smartphone with model number Samsung SM-J720F is expected to be dubbed Galaxy J8 because the original Galaxy J7 is also known as Samsung SM-710F, while Galaxy J7 (2017) has similar model number – SM-730F. As you can see, the new smartphone's model number is in-between the two Galaxy J series handsets that has already been launched.

According to listings, the phone will sport a 5.5-inch display with HD (720p) resolution, 12-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front-facing shooter for selfie. Some interesting specs of the rumoured Galaxy J8 (2018) includes: 4GB RAM plus 32GB of storage, paired with 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7885 processor and Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.

These specs are great for a middle-class phone, but a full HD (1080p) display would be perfect. No date has been announced for unveiling the Samsung Galaxy J series smartphone. You should a higher price tag on the one.
