WhatsApp set to Introduce new Spam Messages Filter Feature

It's more and more features on WhatsApp, as the popular instant messenger is set to release a new one which is designed to stop the circulation of spam messages on its platform. This is coming just few days after the group description feature was introduced.

Some of your WhatsApp friends can't just stop sending you dry jokes or useless announcements that aren't helpful to present situation. Interestingly, most of such "spam" messages are forwarded to you, and that's why WhatsApp is currently working on a feature that will show "Forwarded Message" if the post has been forwarded from another chat or from the same chat.

This spam identifying feature has been seen on WABetaInfo, a trusted source in terms of WhatsApp new features and updates. They claim this feature is now working on WhatsApp beta v2.18.67 for Android, coming disabled by default, along with the Stickers feature that was first spotted on Windows Phone beta.

Hopefully, it will be available on the full-fledged public version in the coming update.
