Some Chinese tech sources reported the unannounced Samsung Galaxy S9 lite will be released by May 21, but will be exclusively available on a Chinese online retailer called JD, a big rival of Alibaba when it comes to tech and gadgets. This suggests that the handset might not be released outside the great wall of China, and this is not the first time Samsung is doing this to their smartphones.

As for the specifications, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9 Lite will be powered by Qualcomm’s octa-core
Snapdragon 660, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, alongside a 16-megapixel camera, 3000 mAh battery, and a FHD+ display. This mid-ranger will ship in a beautiful Burgundy Red color, looking perfect.
