Xiaomi Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A Officially Launched; See Specs and Prices

Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi 6, standing as the successor to last year's Redmi 5. The device comes in two memory variants of 3GB RAM plus 32GB inbuilt storage, and 4GB RAM plus 64GB onboard storage. Under the hood, Xiaomi Redmi 6 runs MediaTek Helio P22 processor, with Android 8.1 Oreo and MIUI 9 pre-loaded (upgradable to MIUI 10). To keep rhe lights on, a 3000mAh battery is in use.

The smartphone sports a 5.45-inch HD+ display at 1440 × 720 pixels resolution, with 18:9 aspect ratio and 80.7% screen-to-body ratio. For image duties, Xiaomi Redmi 6 features a dual camera setup of 12Mp primary sensro and secondary 5MP lens for AI portrait shots. There is a 5MP front facing shooter with face unlock and AI portrait functions.

Xiaomi also unveiled the Redmi 6A along with the Redmi 6, which comes with a 5.45-inch HD display and 18:9 aspect ratio. But there is no Fingerprint ID on this one, and yes, it comes cheaper!
