OMG! American Company Creating a Smartphone with 9 Cameras

We've already seen top 7 abnormal-looking smartphones last year, but they're becoming more weird as time flies. With every new phone there is a new upgrade, be it software or hardware. Speaking of hardware, you would agree with me that cameras are one of the leading factors that affect the kind of phone that people buy. Nobody wants to buy a phone with a terrible camera. We all want that phone that takes bomb selfies, so how about a phone with 9 cameras?

OMG! American Company Creating a Smartphone with 9 Cameras

Yes, 9 cameras on a single phone is strange, but gradually becoming reality as Light, a US based company is currently working on a smartphone featuring 9 cameras. Light has a thing with cameras, as it previously had released the first computational camera with 16 sensors called the L16.

The company claims that these cameras can shoot pictures with up to 64-megapixel resolution, producing amazing images even in low light conditions. The camera also promises unrivalled zoom capabilities and depth effects in the current smartphone market.

The phone is also reported to cost above $2000. Since the L16 carries a price tag around $1950, you shouldn't expect this upcoming model with nine cameras to come cheaper.
