NCC Report: It Seems Nigerians are Tired of Browsing the Internet

It seems not everyone has money for data subscription again, or maybe it's low battery or probably they are just tired of browsing. This is quite strange, but are Nigerians really using the internet lesser today? Well, you’ll be surprised at the answer.

NCC Report: It Seems Nigerians are Tired of Browsing the Internet

According to the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), internet users in the country dropped from 103,152,726 recorded in May to 102,805,122 recorded in June. This statistics show that there was a decrease of 347,604 users.

This report was made public in the NCC's Monthly Internet Subscribers Data for June 2018 in Abuja. Additionally, over this time period, Airtel gained the most internet subscribers, while MTN, 9Mobile and Glo were big losers.

In the analysis provided by the NCC, Airtel gained 162,711 new subscribers, whereas, MTN, Glo and 9Mobile lost 253,612, 36,187 and 222,516 subscribers respectively.
