Just when DStv decided to hike their prices, Startimes has taken a bold and reasonable move reduce its own subscription package fees. Taking effect from the 1st of September, Startimes classic bouquet will now be priced at N1,900 instead of N2,600.
This looks to be well-strategized move by Startimes, seeing that Nigerians were very disappointed with DStv for increasing their package prices and still didn't air the Community Shield football match between Manchester City and Chelsea which was considered to be the curtain raiser into the new season.
Aside from reducing their price, Startimes also stated that starting from August 1st, all customers will enjoy one month free-to-air services on all channels, including new arrivals such as Ebony Life TV, ST Nollywood Plus and Fox and ST Kids added to the Classic bouquet.
Is this enough for you to dump your DStv decoder for Startimes? Kindly tell us your opinion via comments below.
