Japanese OEM—Sony has launched a new smartphone this month at the CES 2018 event, dubbed Xperia XA2. It sports 5.2-inches IPS LCD display at 1080 x 1920 pixels, with Corning Gorilla Glass for screen protection against cracks and scratches. For image duties, the phone features an impressive 23 megapixels rear camera with LED flash, and 8MP front-facing shooter for selfies and video chat.
In terms of performance, Sony Xperia XA2 comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage, alongside MicroSD support for up to 256GB. Unlike its predecessor—Xperia XA1 which uses Mediatek processor, the Xperia XA2 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630, and runs Android 8.0 Oreo off the box.
The handset is fueled with a 3300mAh battery, featuring QuickCharge 3.0. Other specifications includes: 4G LTE and USB-OTG support, fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth v5.0.
