What is This “Black dot of Death” That's Crashing all Android and iPhones?

What is This Black dot That is Crashing all Android and iPhones

Well, this black dot, also dubbed Dot of Death (DoD) carries thousands of Unicode strings that will bog down your processing power, and will crash your Android phone, iPad or iPhone while being processed. This is quite similar to the Indian Telegu character reported back in February which wreaked havoc and rendered so many Apple devices totally unusable.

For now, the only option is to avoid the black dot. But that's not the best solution as it can be hidden under long texts and there can also be plenty of similar strings floating around. So don't start sending it to your ex to punish him/her. We are waiting on Google and Apple yo release an update to tackle this black dot of death bug, but until then, run when you see it.
