In respect to Twitter's TOC, the answer is clear to why NDavengers' account was suspended. Which is part of twitter’s move to combat violent extremism. This heightened after the group reported that it carried out five attacks on oil assets in two days.
Spokesperson for the Avengers, Mr Mudoch Agbinibo released a statement on Facebook that confirmed the suspension.
"Notice! This is to bring to your notice that our twitter handle @www.twitter.com/ndavengers has been suspended and our blog @www.nigerdeltaavengers
disabled.
We use this medium to appeal to our fans and supporter to be very careful with any website or twitter claiming to represent
us. We shall launch new accounts soon! We must continue the struggle!!!"
According to their spokesman, they are not giving up and trying to create more accounts. It remains only their facebook account, since both twitter and website of theirs has been taken down!
