Though, Huawei won't introduce its new flagship smartphone(s) at the MWC 2018 event, the Chinese company recently launched a new set of tablets under the MediaPad brand with amazing features and specifications last week.

The MediaPad M5 is available in 8.4- and 10.8-inch IPS displays versions with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. In terms of performance, it is powered by the company's own Kirin 960 chipset, paired with 4GB RAM and 32GB - 128GB storage versions. There are large batteries to keep the lights on, which are good for 10/11 hours, and 2/4 Harman speakers.

For images and videos duties, the tab features a 13 megapixel rear camera, and there are margnetic pins on the back for attaching the new MediaPads to accessories such as the official keyboard folio. A pressure-sensitive Mate pen will also be available, but it comes as an extra periphery. Other specs worth noting are nano SIM card slots, LTE connectivity, and the latest Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.

As for the price, the high-end 10-inch M5 will cost €399 for the 32GB Wi-Fi version, while the 4G LTE model with 128GB storage is priced at €549. On the other hand, the 8" model is priced at €349 for the Wi-Fi version, and €499 for model with 4G LTE. These Huawei MediaPad M5 tablets are expected to hit the markets by March in United States and Europe.
