Xiaomi Redmi K30 5G full specifications and price in Nigeria, India, Europe, Kenya

The recently introduced 5G version of the Xiaomi Redmi K30 is the Redmi K30 5G. Except for a few differences, particularly with regard to the chipset and support for 5G, the design of both phones is the same, and their specifications are very similar.

The Redmi K30 uses an IPS LCD display, which is significantly less expensive than the Amoled display found in the Redmi K20 and has a faster refresh rate of 120 Hz as opposed to the typical 60 Hz found in most smartphones. Additionally, this is the first Redmi smartphone with a display that refreshes at 120 Hz. The display has a 20:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.

The new Snapdragon 765G chipset from Qualcomm powers the Redmi K30 5G, which incorporates a 5G modem for 5G support. Additionally, the phone has either 6GB or 8GB of RAM. Additionally, it is available with 64GB, 128GB, or 256GB of storage that can be expanded through the hybrid SDcard slot.

The device has four cameras on the rear: a primary 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens with a 120-degree field of view, a 5MP macro lens, and 2MP depth sensor modules. The Sony IMX686 64MP sensor was first used in a smartphone in the Redmi K30 5G. A 20MP main lens and a 2MP depth sensor make up the dual camera on the front.

The Redmi K30 5G has a 4500mAh battery that can be charged quickly up to 30W using the fast charger that comes with the device. The phone is available in white, blue, red, and purple colors.

The Xiaomi Redmi K30 5G will go on sale in January 2020, with prices starting at 1,999 Yuan ($285) for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage option, 2,299 Yuan ($325) for the 6GB / 128GB option, 2,599 Yuan ($370) for the more expensive 8GB / 128GB option, and 2,899 Yuan ($412) for the most expensive 8GB RAM / 256GB option.
