Xiaomi Pad 6: First Images And Features

The new tablet of the Chinese company now seems close to its official debut during the Mobile World Congress 2023.

After the excellent sales success recorded by Mi Pad 5, the Chinese company Xiaomi continues to focus on the tablet market also in 2023. The launch of the new Xiaomi Pad 6 seems really imminent, with the Mobile World Congress which should be the perfect media showcase for presentation. While waiting for its official debut, the first images and features have been leaked online, useful for getting an idea of what awaits us with the new model, both in terms of design and performance.

As for the aesthetic aspect, the new tablet of the Chinese giant will come in an unprecedented silver color, a finish similar to that commonly used on notebooks. The rear photographic module, on the other hand, will resume the design that is already seen on the Xiaomi 12: three sensors, of which the main (larger) is placed at the top and two others are positioned immediately below it.

Compared to the technical characteristics, however, Xiaomi Pad 6 should show off a large 11 or 12-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2,880 x 1,080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 or 144 Hz. In addition, the screen will support Dolby Vision and HDR10+ technologies, so we assume that it will be able to offer a truly excellent viewing experience. To move the device, we will find two different SoCs (based on the chosen configuration), namely the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 and the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, accompanied by 12 Gigabytes of RAM and 512 Gigabytes of internal memory.

The equipment is completed by a 10,000 mAh dual-cell battery with support for 67 Watt fast charging. The operating system will be based on Android with MIUI 14 Pad interface. Xiaomi’s new tablet seems to have all it takes to not regret the excellent previous model, which was really appreciated by users for its excellent quality/ratio price. Now we just have to wait for its official presentation which, as mentioned at the beginning, should take place during the MWC 2023 which will be held from February 27 to March 2.
